It's Confession Time

This may seem quite sad to some of you when I admit now that I have been watching and enjoying Australia's Got Talent.

Perhaps you're even sniggering now and whispering "he needs to get out more".

Still as the Grand Final aired I observed that almost every act, if not every act, displayed some interesting human behaviour.

Here are my observations. Firstly humbleness. Each act has an amazing talent yet they are genuinely taken back by the positive comments. Secondly they have a focus on others. For these people it's about sharing their talent for others to enjoy. Lastly they love what they do. They are passionate about their talent and hope to pursue and master their craft.

As presenters this is absolutley pertinent to us. I am of the belief, when I'm presenting, that it's all about the audience. Therefore, I stay humble by sharing only relevant stories of myself that will enhance a point. I focus on the audience by simply 'being present'. Lastly I'm so passionate about people getting the message I continue to develop my skills as a presenter so I can be the best I can be.

Remember presenting "is all about getting your message to stick" - so stay humble, be focused on your audience and deliver it with passion.

PS: I think "Justice Crew" deserved to win Australia's got talent. Watch them
